ACH was founded in Bristol in 2008 to provide supported housing to refugees who had recently received their five years leave to remain.

They have grown rapidly, and are approaching a turnover of £10m, and are now offering services far beyond Bristol in cities like Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton. As a result, ACH are now strengthening their board to enhance both capacity and capability.

1625 Independent People (1625ip) supports young people in the South-West who are facing homelessness or leaving care. They offer a lifeline of support, providing safe and stable housing alongside practical and emotional guidance. Through their programs, young people gain the skills they need to build healthy relationships, live independently, and access employment or training. The Charity has been working with young people in the South West for over 40 years. They help approximately 1,600 people aged 16-25 per year, and despite multiple and complex needs, over 80% go on to succeed.
